Cinnamon Chile Crusted Steak

Makes 8 servings.

The taste of the Southwest is so easy to make at home with an ancho and chipotle chile pepper spice rub. Just rub the spices over the meat and grill for instant flavor.

Ingredients

  2 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Chile Pepper, Ancho

  1 1/2 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Cinnamon, Saigon

  1 1/2 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Oregano Leaves, Mexican

  1 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Chile Pepper, Chipotle

  1 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Parsley Flakes

  3/4 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Black Pepper, Coarse Grind

  1/2 tsp McCormick® Gourmet Collection Cumin, Ground

  1 1/4 tsp salt

  2 lbs New York strip or rib-eye steaks (1-inch thick)
